About Me

I am a recent PhD graduate from Claremont Graduate University, where I completed my degree in Psychology with a concentration in Evaluation and Applied Research Methods. As a SoCal native, I earned my AA from Irvine Valley College, my BA from UC Irvine, and my MA from Cal State Fullerton. I’m currently working as an adjunct professor at my alma mater Irvine Valley College where I teach for the psychology department.

At Claremont Graduate University, I worked in the Youth Development Evaluation lab at the Claremont Evaluation Center as a project manager. My work there largely focused on positive youth development oriented after-school programs as an external evaluator.

My research interests are in promoting positive youth development in children and adolescents who are minorities, low-income, victims of abuse, or otherwise marginalized. At CGU, I learned more about PYD and its applications for these communities and have further developed my interest and skills in program evaluation.

Outside of work and school, I enjoy the perks of living in SoCal, including the beautiful weather, the beach, and trying diverse foods. As my peers know, I have an enormous, sweet tooth, and love to bake in my free time.
